Everything you need to know

What can I import into Glow Up?

You can import clients and services from CSV files, and appointments from an .ics calendar file. The information is reviewed before it is added to your workspace.

Can I keep my current website?

Yes. You can share your Glow Up booking link or add a booking button to your website. The button opens your public booking page.

How do online bookings work?

Your public page shows the services and availability you make bookable. When a client confirms a slot, the appointment is added to your bookings workspace.

Can we add phone bookings and walk-ins?

Yes. Your team can create an appointment manually and add a walk-in, including when no client record exists yet.

Can I manage opening hours, closures and team availability?

Yes. You can set usual and exceptional opening hours, closures, team unavailability and blocked periods.

Can team members have different access?

Yes. Roles control access to bookings, clients, services, the team, payments, refunds and settings. Invitations can also be suspended.

Can I manage several establishments?

Yes. Establishments in the same organisation keep their own settings and opening hours, and you can switch between them in Manager.

Is there a monthly software subscription or minimum term?

There is no monthly software subscription, setup fee or minimum term for the base service. The merchant terms still apply, and accepted bookings must be honoured when an account is closed.

When does Glow Up charge a platform fee?

The platform fee depends on the booking channel and payment method. The current amounts are listed on the pricing page. Cash, gift voucher, credit and bank-transfer payments do not carry a platform fee.

Who pays card processing costs?

For terminal payments, the establishment pays the fee. For online payments, the client pays by default, or the establishment can choose to absorb it. There is no separate Stripe deduction on top of the displayed platform fee.

When are online payments paid out?

Released amounts are paid through the connected payment account every Tuesday. The first payout and payout timing can depend on identity checks and payment-provider holds.

What happens with refunds, late cancellations and no-shows?

Glow Up does not add a new fee when a payment is refunded, but the original platform fee normally remains. A retained amount can apply to a prepaid booking under the cancellation and no-show policy shown to the client.

What can I export?

You can export your client list as a CSV file. For another type of data, contact support so the available format and scope can be confirmed.

Who controls my client data?

The establishment controls its client file and service history, while Glow Up processes that data to provide the service. Glow Up does not sell or rent it for third-party marketing; necessary service providers are listed in the legal documentation.

How can I get help?

Use the help centre for practical guides or email [email protected]. The team replies as soon as reasonably possible; no response-time guarantee is advertised.
