Payments, answered.
How does the prepaid payment work?
For a paid online booking, payment can be required before the booking is completed. A successful payment is then recorded with the booking.
What happens if the client cancels?
Refunds are handled from the merchant workspace. Review the booking and payment status before taking action.
Do my clients need a Glow Up account to pay?
No. The booking flow runs in the browser, the client enters their card and that is it. They get a receipt by email, and you get a paid booking on your calendar.
What are the fees?
Fee rules depend on the payment channel. The pricing page shows the current fees and who carries them.
Can I choose who carries the fees, the salon or the client?
Online, the client carries the Glow Up fee by default and the establishment can change that setting. At the terminal, the establishment carries the fee so the client pays the displayed price.
When do I receive the money?
A verified and enabled Stripe Connect account uses a weekly payout schedule. Actual availability depends on the account and payment status.
